With our technology, we can produce a perfectly consistent golf shaft each and every time. When golfers purchase a TPT Golf shaft, they can know that it will feel and perform exactly the same as the shaft they used in their fitting.

With a properly fit TPT Golf shaft, golfers are going to contact the sweet spot more often due to its more axially consistent design. They will also likely swing our shafts a little faster because of their optimized bend profiles. It’s this combination of more consistent impacts and our optimized bending profiles that results in significant distance gains and a tighter dispersion.

In fittings around the world, TPT Golf shafts have proven to provide golfers of all abilities with additional club head speed and ball speed.

All of our shafts are sold for the same price. In the U.S., our shafts sell for $499. TPT Golf shafts are now available around the world and pricing varies by country depending on things like taxes.

Because we don’t pay golfers to use TPT Golf shafts, we can’t always use their names to promote our company. What we can say is TPT Golf shafts have been used by major championship winners and many of the world’s best golfers to earn victories on 13 tours across the world.

TPT Golf shafts are not sold online. Being properly fit is crucial to optimizing the performance of a TPT Golf shaft. After a fitting, most golfers find that the best TPT Golf shaft for their game is a different model than they anticipated.

Golfers can purchase TPT Golf shafts through our network of more than 200 Authorized Fitters worldwide.


Thin-Ply Technology is the process we use to create our incredibly thin and precise carbon fiber prepreg material. We manufacture prepreg that’s as light as 15 grams per square meter, which is four-times thinner than a human hair and one-quarter the weight of a page of paper.

The Thin-Ply Winding Method is a patent-pending process we developed that allows us to position our prepreg in the exact locations and orientations necessary to create optimal performance in a golf shaft. This automated process also brings repeatability to our designs, allowing us to create identical shafts time after time.

Our parent company, NTPT, is a Swiss-based technology and composites firm that develops cutting-edge materials. Its track record includes developing performance-enhancing applications for the America’s Cup and Formula 1 Racing. The record-breaking, solar-powered aircraft “Solar Impulse” relied on NTPT-produced materials for its epic journey, and NTPT also creates the luxury watch cases for Richard Mille.

Four years ago, we were looking for a new opportunity and saw it in the golf industry. At first, we thought it would be as a wholesaler of higher-quality golf shaft materials. When we were told our materials were too expensive, we took a deeper look into the space. We realized that we had an opportunity to create “The Future of Golf Shafts.”

Since that time, we’ve built a new golf shaft manufacturing method from the ground up, integrating the successful technologies NTPT developed with golf-shaft specific innovations we created along the way.

With our automated golf shaft manufacturing method, we have been able to overcome the inconsistencies of conventional graphite shafts that have been plaguing golfers for decades.

We use the best carbon fiber available to create our shafts. We then combine that carbon fiber with our proprietary resin systems to produce the highest quality prepregs.

Each of our shafts incorporates either high modulus or ultra-high modulus PAN fibers in their design.


Our heaviest shaft weighs 69 grams (15 MKP-MT-SW). Our lightest shaft weighs 52 grams (19 LKP-MT-SW). As a company, it’s our goal to design and manufacture the highest performing golf shafts in the world. Our current weight range has been proven to fit every kind of golfer, including beginners and top PGA Tour players.

With our technologies, we have the ability to improve the stiffness and stability of a golf shaft without needing to add more weight to the design.

Our lineup currently includes 10 different shafts, each of which is created with a specific torque value to precisely match its bend profile. We consider our Blue Range shafts to be mid-torque (MT). In 2018, we launched our first low-torque (LT) shaft, the 15 LKP-LT, which is part of our Extended Blue Range.

Keep in mind that there’s no standard way to measure golf shaft torque. Our method involves measuring the torque of the entire length of a shaft with a 1-inch clamp at the tip.

Our shafts are not considered “counterbalanced.” Their balance points are around 46 percent from the tip.

It’s not necessary. Our automated manufacturing process yields ultra-consistent, seamless shafts with no measurable performance difference at any orientation.

We take pride in producing golf shafts to the tightest tolerances found in the industry.  

TPT Golf shafts are available with two different bend profiles:

  • LKP (Low Kick Point): The LKP bend profile provides tip stability with a lower kick point.
  • MKP (Mid Kick Point): The MKP is available to fit players who require a higher kick point shaft to help optimize their launch conditions.  

Feel is a difficult parameter to measure, however, the vast majority of golfers who are fit for TPT Golf shafts report that our shafts feel “solid” and “stable.”

We attribute the unique feel of our shafts to our patent-pending manufacturing process.

TPT Golf shafts are a great option for both drivers and fairway woods. Our extensive shaft lineup provides our Authorized Fitters with a comprehensive matrix to fit both drivers and fairway woods.

Tipping is an option for fairway woods (0.50-inches max), however, most tour players have optimized their performance without needing to tip a TPT Golf shaft.  

We’re constantly looking to improve our designs and processes to provide golfers with the best possible performance. One of the ways we do this is through testing on the PGA Tour and other professional tours, where we’re in the process of validating new prototype shaft designs.

All TPT Golf shafts used on the professional golf tours are created with the same materials and technologies as the shafts we sell through our Authorized Fitter Network around the world.

If successful, TPT Golf will make these prototype shafts available to golfers through our Authorized Fitters Network.

We’re working on a variety of new prototypes, including iron shafts, fairway wood shafts, and hybrid shafts. Once these shafts are perfected by our engineers and validated on the professional tours, they will become available through our network of Authorized Fitters.
